He holds a PhD in contractual risk assessment, a law degree, undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering and construction, and an MBA. Over the course of his career, he has held senior assurance, contracts, and governance roles with organizations including Shell, Saudi Aramco, and national energy companies.

Dr. Tirmizi has reviewed and advanced multi-billion-dollar capital projects globally, including pipelines, LNG infrastructure, and energy transition projects, with a consistent focus on readiness, value protection, and execution robustness.

At PSR, he personally delivers all project assurance, FEL reviews, contractual risk assessments, and due diligence engagements. His work emphasizes early identification of risks arising from weak project definition, inadequate governance, and poorly structured contracts, so that capital decisions are made with clarity and confidence.
